New Conductor Required from January 2018

Description of Vacancy: The Chichester Symphony Orchestra (CSO) is looking for a new Conductor to take over from January 2018.

 

The Orchestra has about 40 regular members and engages extra players as needed. It rehearses in central Chichester on Tuesday evenings in term time from 7.30 – 9.30.

 

The Orchestra performs about 4 concerts a year in and around Chichester, including a Tuesday lunchtime concert in Chichester Cathedral. The repertoire is varied, but is primarily from the classical and romantic repertoire, including music from 20th Century. Soloists perform concertos with the orchestra from time to time, and are of local or national standing.
